I am the primary academic advisor for the Undergraduate Computing & Information Technologies and Human-Centered Computing degrees. Advisors help students in course selection, long-term planning, policies and procedures, and what resources are available to them on campus. We tend to be a student's first contact point for most issues; if we don't know the answer, we know who on campus will. All IST advisors are generally available via appointment (by calling 585-475-2700), or by email.
I have been at RIT for 17 years in a number of capacities, and a RIT Alumna. Keeping active and learning new things is what I love most - hiking (I have hiked 8 of the 46 Adirondack High Peaks), going to the gym, jogging with my crazy dog, taking computing classes (some for non-computing majors), and playing volleyball are some of my favorite things to do.
